Exhibitors - What you need to know

8th Annual Field Trip Fair

Monday, September 27, 2010 - 3:30 - 6:30 pm

Japanese Canadian National Museum

This year we're trying to streamline some of the administrative tasks so our small group of volunteers (Jamie, Krista and Lisa) don't die. Registration will only be open during a limited two week window (June 1 - 14, if everything goes as planned).

The options for registration are:

  • Table at the fair and an annual (September - August) website listing - $150 (1 table per exhibitor, no large backdrops please; each exhibitor is expected to provide a free field trip for 1 class (30 students)).
  • Annual (September - August) website listing only - $50
  • Brochure table - can't make it to the Fair but you'd like your brochure to be available - $25 (you will be required to get 150 copies of the brochure to the Japanese Canadian National Museum. Any copies left over will be recycled. Brochures will be put out on a table for teachers to collect them). THIS OPTION IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO PEOPLE WHO CAN NOT MAKE IT TO THE FAIR.

We will not be doing bag stuffers this year.

Where do your registration dollars go?

  • transportation bursaries - we will again provide some money for teachers to use towards busses and transit passes for fieldtrips
  • food and beverages for over 400 teachers
  • a networking session for you, the exhibitors, before the event including food and beverages
  • maintaining our new and improved website
  • producing marketing materials to remind teachers to use the website - magnets, post cards, lanyards, pencils,...
  • table rentals for the event
  • signage to help teachers find the event

We will send out the link to register with our next email. The number of tables available is limited. Once you have registered an invoice will be emailed to you. Your table for the fair will be secured when we receive your cheque.

Remember - we are a group of volunteers organising the event - we can not take payment by credit card.
