Nature Detectives

Description What do a Detective and a Scientist have in common? They both need skills to observe and interpret their findings. Pupils go to Nature Detective school to tune up four of their five senses (they don't taste anything until later in the program) plus their thinking skills. They then go out on the trails to put those skills into action and solve a nature mystery.

Additional Notes	One class per program based on Ministry of Education guidelines. The program is currently offered in only English, but French reinforcement is also available. Links and notes for teachers are available on our website http://www.richmondnatureparksociety.ca We can accommodate classes back-to-back if you need to share a bus with another teacher. There is a picnic shelter area in the park or we can make special arrangements in case of bad weather if you are bringing two classes at the same time.
