Guided Visits

Offered by Contemporary Art Gallery and last updated on August 24, 2010.

Description

“It truly was a meaningful experience for both the children and the teachers” - Montessori instructor on a guided visit. The Contemporary Art Gallery supports and recognizes the benefits of art education. We offer resources that facilitate learning and understanding of contemporary art. Our aim is to provide accessible resources that increase capacity for critical and creative thinking. The CAG offers a range of educational programming including online learning resources, teachers’ professional development activities, exhibition guides and free guided visits to classes from K-12. Guided visits introduce major themes in contemporary art, and offer ways for students to develop their own interpretive skills through discussion and activities. To book a guided visit for your class, contact Jill Henderson at info@contemporaryartgallery.ca or 604.681.2700.
