Grouse Mountain, in conjunction with Jim Wiese, is pleased to offer this program that combines snow activities with specially designed science curriculum activities. Enhance your snow experience with an exploration of the science of snow, skiing, snowboarding, ice skating or snowshoeing.
Elementary Science of Snow – New This Year!

Secondary Science of Snow
This program includes observations and measurements of selected aspects of skiing/snowboarding, skating or snowshoeing applying mechanics, thermodynamics and other elements of the Physics 11 & 12 curriculum in outdoor winter activities. Students can choose from skiing/snowboarding, or a combination of ice skating and snowshoeing. Program pricing can be found at www.grousemountain.com/Summer/wildlife-education/
