Description

Re-visit Victoria's past by exploring St. Ann's Academy's restored 1858 chapel and grounds. Students will: take part in guided discussions of school life then and now; analyse archival photos to see change over time; explore building restoration and try faux finish woodgrain painting; create a simple map of the grounds; and discuss fur trade society and try words of Chinook Jargon, the language of the fur trade.
