Description

World War II afftected Canadian society profoundly, especially for women. This tour examines the issues faced by young women who joined the Women's Royal Canadian Naval Service (WRCNS) to serve their country during World War II, and events leading to their inclusion as officers and enlisted personnel in the modern Navy. Please note: This is a museum-based tour. It does NOT include a tour of a Canadian naval vessel of any description.
