Terry Fox Tour

Offered by BC Sports Hall of Fame and last updated on May 29, 2008.

Description

THE TERRY FOX TOUR IS THE IDEAL WAY TO INSPIRE YOUR STUDENTS. The field trip highlights the story of the Marathon of Hope and has students learning from the only permanent gallery dedicated to this great Canadian Hero. After their visit, your students will be asked to think about Terry's unique story and how they can use the lessons learned to achieve personal goals. The tour traces Terry's Marathon of Hope across the country. Using artifacts, photographs, video, and Terry's personal journal entries students learn why Terry Fox is a national hero.
