Mineralogy for kids
Description
Kids are naturally enthusiastic about geology. Ask parents how many rocks they have removed from their kids’ pockets! Our school trips channel this innate curiosity into specific learning experiences.
Kids 6 to 16 collect colourful minerals: fluorite, barite and quartz while exploring the heritage property of Rock Candy Mountain. Depending on age level, our guides relate earth history to human history, and include concepts about environmental consciousness and societal needs for resources.
