Program Description

With materials and support provided by the NVMA, teachers will work with students to uncover the story of indigenous political activism in British Columbia.The contributions of Tsleil-Waututh Chief Dan George, as an actor, activist, and family leader will be revealed. Critical thinking skills will be exercised when discussing themes such as stereotyping and media literacy. French language teaching materials available: Chef Dan George: acteur et militant.
