Through a variety of interactive lessons students learn about land-usage, population and habitat, salmon life cycles through the lens of human-wildlife interaction. Salmon & the Forest is 4 hours in length including a walk to the Capilano Salmon Hatchery. This program is offered to grades 8-12."

Join a Capilano Educational staff member to share in stories of totem poles, explore First Nations regalia and art and visit the Little Big House to learn about the importance of the Western Red Cedar to coastal First Nations. "The Tree of Life" includes 75 - 115 minutes of instructional time and hands-on activities, as well as a shortened tailored history and free time for your class to explore all areas of the park. Program is offered as a primary or intermediate format.

Participate in a scavenger hunt and create a memory game (younger students) or awareness poster (older students) to discover the importance of recognizing and identifying factors unique to temperate rain forest of BC's west coast, as well as the importance of conservation and environmental stewardship. "Rainforest Rescuers" includes 75 - 115 minutes of instructional time and hands-on activities, as well as a shortened tailored history and free time for your class to explore all areas of the park. Program is offered as a primary or intermediate format.

Cross the suspension bridge; visit Treetops Adventure; build a model bridge. Join a Capilano Educational staff member to explore the dynamics, physics, and mathematical and technological requirements to build a safe and sturdy bridge. 'Bridge Builders' includes 75 - 115 minutes of instructional time and hands-on activities, as well as a shortened tailored history and free time for your class to explore all areas of the park.
