Our Field Trips

  • This riveting adventure, set in Ancient Egypt, will have you on the edge of your seat. The mysterious Zalira and the sneeze-afflicted palace scribe Bakneb must aid young Pharoah Serket if he is to escape death at the hands of his enemies. Together they journey deep into the desert to find the Lost Stone of Fire, a gem so magical it is believed to grant its owner immortality. A Canadian premiere of a new adventure inspired by the legends of Ancient Egypt. (All attendees must be ages 5 and up.) School Matinee Performances run April 6-19, 2011
  • A sensational high-octane play with music based on five Robert Munsch stories - old favourites like Stephanie's Ponytail, Jonathan Cleaned up-Then He Heard a Sound and Aaron's Hair and new ones like Down the Drain and The Sandcastle Contest - will charm audiences, young and old, and have them singing along. (All attendees must be ages 3 and up) School Matinees performances run March 4-18, 2011.
  • Birds of a feather flock together! Hat Street is a place controlled by rules and regulations. When a hard-working man happens upon a nest of baby birds in the forest, he becomes enchanted with their song and soon gives them shelter under his hat. The man must then decide whether he will keep his birds safe, or abide by Hat Street's Golden Rule! (All attendees must be ages 5 and up) School Matinees are performed from February 11-25, 2011 at The Waterfront Theatre on Granville Island.
  • The Cat is Back! This hilarious musical, based on the works of Dr. Seuss, will make everyone laugh and dance in their seats. Perfect for all ages! (All attendees must be ages 3 and up.) School Matinees Performances run December 1-17, 2010
