WildED Interpretive Nature Hikes

Nature provides the ultimate classroom! Our interpretive Nature Hikes allow students to actively explore while learning about nature, parks, and wilderness.
Mount Seymour Parks Education Outdoor Classroom

WildEDucators lead interactive, educational sessions in the Parks Heritage Centre and then take learning into the outdoor classroom on one of Mount Seymour's many spectacular trails, where students actively explore among majestic old-growth Douglas Firs and Western Red Cedars.
WildED In-School Programs

Bring nature alive right in your classroom with spectacular images, interactive games, and hands-on outdoor activities. Themes include: Super Natural BC: Past, Present, and Future; Ecosystems: Life On the Wildside; Knowing and Caring for Nature, Parks, and Wilderness.
WildED Teacher Workshops

Our teacher workshops offer an opportunity to learn more about integrating experiential nature education into your curriculum and provide the resources and support to do so.

Cancellation Policy	Programs are offered free of charge, however, there is a $100 cancellation fee charged to schools that do not provide a minimum 5 school days notice for cancellation or rescheduling.

Other Registration Info	WildED in-school programs and nature hikes are offered FREE OF CHARGE. The WildED Kids in Nature Fund, sponsored by MEC, provides transportation subsidies to schools where cost is a barrier to participation.
