Deposits are only refunded if the tour is cancelled more than 2 weeks in advance, cancelling within two weeks of your scheduled tour will result in no refund.

Deposit Comment:

Due to the increase of last minute cancellations we have implemented a $100 refundable deposit. Your refund will be available if your field trip is cancelled 2 weeks prior to scheduled date.

BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation (BCAITC) offers 500+ free downloadable agriculture and food resources for K-12 students. The lesson plans, unit plans, activities, recipes, storybooks, videos, and educational resources feature curriculum-connections to Science, Social Studies, Math, English Language Arts, Arts, Food Studies and more subjects.

Teachers, home educators, and students can download the resources here 24/7. These resources introduce food and agriculture education into students' lives to encourage appreciation of agriculture, food, and healthy eating for years to come!

Ag Adventures

BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation (BCAITC) invites K-12 teachers and students to take part in our Ag Adventures tours of The Pencil Patch (a Garden for Learning) and Stable Harvest Farm in spring and fall 2023!

Located in Abbotsford and Langley, the garden and farm provide fun learning opportunities including a tour of BC agriculture subjects such as soil, pollinators, water, growing zones, the Agriculture Land Reserve, invasive species, greenhouses, crop rotation, and more. More details here.
