Our Field Trips
-
Chinese Canadian Military Museum tours include a visit with the Chinese Canadian Second World War veterans to hear about their challenges of growing up in Chinatown and their wartime experiences; as well as a tour through the Museum to look at historic photographs, uniforms, medals, documents, and proclamations.
-
This Historical Chinatown tour will encompass learning about the history of Chinese in Canada; and details about important events, the evolution of the community, and how Chinatown has survived and developed into a cultural centre for Vancouver tourism and education. In addition to the street tour, there will be visits to many of the renovated and as-is heritage buildings, as well as a visit to the Chinese Canadian Military Museum where Chinese Canadian Second World War veterans will meet with us and share their experiences.
