Program Description

Good Grief, it’s twice the fun! The holiday sell-out, A Charlie Brown Christmas, is back and playing in a special double bill feature with You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown.

CTYP Audience favourites Andrew Cownden, Rebecca Talbot, Emilie Leclerc and Amanda Testini bring these cherished stories to the stage for children and grown-ups alike! Both of these lively musical adaptations feature a live jazz trio.

Experience the ups and downs of everyday life with Charlie Brown and his friends in You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown. It’s just a series of typical days but when your friends are the Peanuts gang, no day is ever ordinary and no event is too small to ponder. And somewhere between Beethoven’s Birthday, peanut butter sandwiches, and the existential merits of a Peter Rabbit book report, Charlie Brown and the gang stumble upon the true meaning of happiness.

Then join Charlie Brown in A Charlie Brown Christmas as he tries to direct his friends in the school Christmas pageant. With help from his friends and a ragged little tree, Charlie Brown discovers what the season is really all about.

What to Expect: This is a lively musical with musicians on stage, and lots of movement, dancing and singing. Charlie Brown and his friends ponder questions big and small as they celebrate the season.
