Creepy Crawlies In the Classroom! (Aquatic Invertebrates Workshop)

Program Description

Duration: 1.5 – 2 hours
Grade: Grades 3 - 7 (please be advised this workshop is not suitable for younger grades)
Cost: $75


Our streams and rivers are home to dozens of different species of aquatic insects. ARMS instructors will collect the river critters and bring them to your classroom where students will actively identify and view the bugs with microscopes and magnifying glasses. Students will learn how important diversity is to our water systems and the impact we humans have on our watersheds.
