What's That Habitat?

Program Description

Students will spend two hours discovering the unique features of trout habitat and the ways of caring for our freshwater ecosystems. This program includes information on environmental conservation and hatchery roles and students will learn through a number of hands-on activities including a hatchery tour with live fish aquaria, decomposition rate board, 'pollution soup' demonstration, and scavenger hunt. Cost is $75 (tax included) per CLASS, please bring cash or cheque the day of tour.

Additional Notes

This program is 2 - 2.5 hours long. What's that Habitat ties into BC school curriculum and pre and post field trip packages are available upon request.
