Our Trips

Volcano Voyage introduces students to the basics of volcanology. Through a series of hands-on activities, students will learn about volcano types, magma properties, and volcanic hazards. This workshop lasts approximately one hour and is appropriate for grades 7 and up.

Fossils finds guides students through a variety of hands-on activities to demonstrate how palaeontologists use clues from the past to learn about ancient life. Students will touch and handle REAL fossils, make molds and casts and visit with George, British Columbia’s ONLY, fully-articulated dinosaur! This workshop lasts approximately one hour and is appropriate for Grades K-7.

Rock Recognition is a hands-on workshop that introduces students to the basics of rock identification, rock formation, and the rock cycle. This workshop lasts approximately one hour and is appropriate for Grade 4 and up.
