Program Description

With connections to the science and socials curricula, students will find out how the North Shore mountains and other landforms have impacted the development of communities here over time. 

Program Highlights:  

  • A Coast Salish legend

  • Image and artifact analysis

  • Hands-on erosion experiment

  • Exploration of common rocks and minerals from the North Shore mountains

    Cost includes up to 30 students max. Includes adult companions and GST. 

    Additional Notes

    For single class visits, up to 30 minutes of self-guided gallery time can be added onto the 90-minute program, at no extra cost. When our Feature Gallery is available, this can be extended to two classes (please enquire with programming staff). We also have a sensory space that can be made available on request.
