Activity Day Trips

Treat your class or group to a full day of outdoor adventure with Camp Jubilee’s popular Activity Day Trips. With 10 engaging options to choose from—including archery, voyageur canoeing, slingshots, beach study, shelter building, orienteering, and team building—students stay active while learning new skills, building confidence, and strengthening connections.

Our Standard Day Trip includes three guided activities and a nutritious lunch, with one free teacher for every 12 students. Groups looking for even more adventure can upgrade to the Extended Day Trip, which adds a campfire program and the chance for students ages 10+ to try kayaking.

Every trip includes round-trip boat transportation from Cates Park, North Vancouver, making it easy for schools to enjoy a seamless and unforgettable outdoor experience.

Professional Development Day Retreats
Swap the staff room for the shoreline and spend your Pro-D Day surrounded by nature. Camp Jubilee’s Professional Development Day Retreats offer educators the perfect blend of inspiration and relaxation. Enjoy up to three guided outdoor activities, a catered lunch, and access to indoor or outdoor meeting spaces to connect, collaborate, or simply unwind.

With boat transportation from Cates Park included, your team can enjoy a refreshing, hassle-free retreat that sparks creativity and builds stronger bonds.

BMSC is currently closed to visitors due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and will not accept clients until April 1, 2021, at the earliest.

Currently, though, we are offering virtual field trips through out BMSC Live! program. These are delivered through Zoom and cover many of our regular field trip topics: including, but not limited to Marine Invertebrate Diversity, Oceanography, intertidal ecology, Plankton studies, Seaweeds, and more!

Hands-on immersion learning experiences packed with field trips to beaches, boat trips, experimentation and observations in the laboratory, and presentations about marine science. Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre is a world-renowned teaching and research facility on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Our award-winning programs have inspired and engaged students for decades.

What can the story of Delta’s Chinatown reveal about enduring issues in Canadian history? Using archaeological and archival evidence from Delta’s Chinatown, students will explore the legacy of Canada’s policies and treatment of Chinese immigrants.

Education Kits provide your students the opportunity to explore primary source materials in the classroom. Our kits include a teacher’s manual, lesson plans, student activity sheets, archival documents and artifacts, and program materials.

From towering forests to sandy seashores, regional parks are filled with fun, hands-on learning environments. Park interpreters lead field trips outdoors for about 2 hours. Students are engaged in discovery, activities and games related to the topic.
