Chinatown is a National Historic Site and one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Vancouver.
I'm the only guide who can take people into the heritage buildings, the only one who has a Master's degree in Chinese Canadian History, and I donate money to the Chinese associations for upkeep and renovations. I also make the elders my famous dumplings to show my appreciation and respect. I don't have set times for tours. I customize my tours to what people want.
I take people to numerous clan and county association buildings, to a herbal store, to dried goods and fresh produce stores, etc. You will feel embraced by the community.
